Bamboo's Amazing Natural Properties:
- naturally wicking
- environmentally sustainable
- super-soft
Organic Cotton and Bamboo are blended to create the soft velour of the regular bamboobies and the fleece on the outside of the overnights.
Soy is the new ‘veggie cashmere!’
Most of the time soy fiber is a waste product of soybean oil and tofu manufacturing ... but, once in a while, a savvy textile manufacturer reclaims this food by-product for an innovative new fabric blend.
Soy is more breathable, absorbent and durable than cotton and is naturally anti-microbial and UV protective. Like silk, it is softer than cotton and longer-lasting. It dries quickly, doesn’t wrinkle as easily and feels luxuriously comfortable.
Soy fibers do not require any toxic bleaching or toxic chemicals to process and our soy blends are non-GMO. Soy fibers are ideal for garments as they ‘close the loop’ on manufacturing waste.
Soy and Organic Cotton blends are found in our jersey Butterfly Wraps.
Hemp: the most sustainable and versatile plant on earth!
Hemp is considered 'naturally organic' because it does not exhaust the soil, uses little water, and requires no pesticides or herbicides.
With high moisture absorbency -- four times that of cotton -- and high heat conductivity, it is well suited to line breast pads. Hemp is famous for ‘wearing in – not out!’ as it softens with each wash.
Hemp and organic cotton blends are found in the inner core of all of our bamboobies products because of hemp's amazing absorbing properties.
